Extending studies at a host university

this is possible only after agreement with the MU and host institution
the student applies for an extension through the Application for Extension of Placement (available to download in the ISOIS application), which must be uploaded in your ISOIS application (section During mobility) no later than 30 days before the originally planned end of your study stay (late applications will not be accepted)
the student does not automatically have the right to the financing of the extended stay, as it depends on the sending institution whether they will provide financial support for the extended period

Application for extension includes:

motivation section which must state the reasons for extending the traineeship
the application must be signed by the placement guarantor at MU faculty as well as the supervisor from the host institution

extension without a right to financial support: the student does not receive financial support; however, they continue to have the status of an Erasmus+ student with the advantages that ensue
extension with financial support: is possible only in the case of sufficient funding from the Erasmus+ programme, the change in the overall amount of financial support must be stated in an amendment to the Grant Agreement

if the extension is approved, the student must take out insurance for the extended period
Changes to Learning Agreement must be created in ISOIS (the deadline being a maximum of 10 days from the approval)
student needs to update date of the mobility in IS MU record and also upload Changes to Learning Agreement there

it is possible after agreement of the student with MU and the host institution – if the student shortens the stay by more than 5 days, they send a notification of reduction form to their coordinator at CZS (downloadable in the ISOIS application form), in case of shortening the stay by up to 5 calendar days, they notify their CZS coordinator, the placement guarantor at MU and the supervisor from the host institution by email
the student will be asked to refund the proportional part of the financial support
should the student not keep to the minimum length of the study stay, i.e., 2 months, they are obliged to return the entire financial support
